A blend of simple design and Artograph quality provide the beginning artist or crafter with an effective, time-saving tool. Sketches, patterns, photos, graphics, crafts, fabric decorations, and small three-dimensional objects, can easily be projected onto a wall or easel for fast and easy viewing or tracing.

Simply place the projector on top of the image or object, push the on/off switch, and the image is instantly and clearly projected. The Tracer can project both color and black and white images.

Copy sized 5" × 5" (12.7 cm × 12.7 cm) can be enlarged up to 14 times its original size. No set-up or assembly is required. The projector comes with a 23 watt fluorescent bulb that has a maximum illumination equivalent to a 100 watt incandescent light. It operates silently and uses a single-element 200 mm optical glass lens. The Tracer projector does not have a cooling fan. Portable, it weighs only 3 lbs (1.3 kg).

Fluorescent 23 Watt Lamp — This energy efficient, 8,000 hour, color-corrected fluorescent lamp produces a whiter, brighter image with low heat and only uses 23 watts of energy.

If you've ever used a real projector, you're going to be disappointed. A hundred watts just isn't enough, especially with the tiny subject size. Too dim to be practical for any serious work.

Need Pitch Dark, Bulb no good

Only works in PITCH DARK. Will not work at all with ridiculous "swirly" bulb they include. I was totally disappointed until I got out an old 100 watt incandescent bulb, and then IT WORKED LIKE A CHARM. Was never meant to work with the stupid "green" bulb. Glad I've hoarded bulbs, the rest of you are screwed. Works the same as a light table unless you want to enlarge. Will not project a 100% size image, and you are drawing in the dark. It works up to a point, but not in the amount of detail that I needed.

A nice cheap tracer. Please note the product description says it'll reproduce from 2-14 times. Didn't say 1 for 1, now did it? I'm just warning you. Light bulb arrived broken.

The beauty of the product is how simple and not complicated the design is.
I recommend it any time there is a need to copy and enlarged version of any design...

Always make sure you use it in very low light. As long as it's dark it projects a great image. I also love that it uses a very simple bulb that is easy and inexpensive to replace. This is a great value.

Received my order timely and in good condition. The Artograph Tracer Projector works great after the bulb is warmed up. The image projection is clearly defined even at substantially larger adjustments (using for wall murals). Looking forward in using it for art projects. A great value for the buck!

I wanted to get a projector to help me complete my illustrations faster. I decided on this one because it was the least expensive, and it was worth it. The images it projects are great quality for what I'm doing, once you get the hang of focusing the lens. This projector is so immensely helpful, I'm really glad I bought it.
