Lightracer is an all-purpose art and craft light box for transferring designs and patterns. Use it for viewing, visualizing, stenciling, calligraphy, lettering, scrapbooking, quilting, needlework, stained glass, templates, embossing, and more.

The translucent surface is conveniently slanted, and is illuminated by a long-life, "Daylight" fluorescent lamp (included). The 10" × 12" model comes with a 8W bulb and weighs just 3 lb (1.5 kg). The 12" × 18" model comes with a 15W bulb and weighs 6 lb (3 kg).

Lightracer requires standard 115V AC power. Carries a 5-year manufacturer's warranty.

Warning — All electrical products have U.S. standard plugs and voltage. Due to damage that can occur when using incompatible plugs, sockets, or converters, Blick does not ship electrical items or accessories outside of North America or to freight forwarders.

I think most of these light boxes are over priced so I liked this one because you get a bigger light box for the money and it slants which makes it very user friendly, however I have to hold the switch to make the light come on and it seems there is only on light bulb rather than two. Not sure if I just got one with a faulty light bulb or not but other than than it is good for the money.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Light in weight yet sturdy in construction. The angled surface is just right for inking over pencils or checking out some old fashioned slides. The illumination level is a little heavy at the top but overall very nice.

I use this product primarily for transfering designs to fabric for quilting. It is large and the light area is consistent (no dark areas). I find the built-in pen/pencil tray very useful as well. This is a well designed product! I definitely reccommend this product.

My Mistake. I ordered the wrong Light box....This Box works very well as it is described. I needed a much stronger light box for what we do. I have never used a Light Box before so I did not know what to order.
I like the slant. The Price is great.
We have many programs here in the Palm Springs area for children with diabilities. I am going to donate it.
I will have to buy a more powerful Light box for myself.

This light box is doing exactly what I bought it to do. I am tracing an applique design onto black fabric & the design shows up beautifully so I can trace it.
