The Artograph Flare LED100 Digital Projector's small size and two-hour rechargeable battery make it very portable, while 854 x 480 HD resolution and 100 lumens of LED brightness make it very effective for smaller scale projection projects. USB and HDMI inputs make it compatible with many digital devices.
The Flare’s proprietary firmware includes 22 custom grids with a bonus set of border patterns and geometric shapes. These grids and patterns bring superior capability for layout, composition, and scaling. Other great features include digital keystone adjustment to help keep your images in proper perspective, gray scale and contrast controls for unsurpassed tonal evaluation, color temperature/hue adjustment for vivid images in all lighting conditions, and wireless connectivity (with certain devices) via Wi-Fi Direct or Miracast.
The Flare comes with a protective case, SD Card Reader, HDMI cable, and Artograph's lifetime technical support. It measures 1¾" H × 4¼" W × 4" D and weighs 0.6 lb. LEDs are rated to last 30,000 hours.

Small but mighty!
By NM Artist

Comments about Artograph Flare LED100 Digital Projector:
Read a bunch of reviews on this before I purchased it, including a write up in an art magazine. It does far more than I will probably ever use it for, but you never know. So far, I've just been learning how to use it, and I'm pretty tech challenged, but it's quite straight forward in its application. I won't be using it for every one of my future art works, but for the ones where it saves an immense amount of time, and the proportions have to be exact, I am thrilled to have it to use as a wonderful tool. Would recommend to anyone with similar needs.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

from new york
this projector cuts my time in half, after I draw a photo, it's easy for me to tranfer my drawing and get ready to paint, a nice addition to my art tools.very light and small in size.
Amazingly exceeds expectations
This projector enhances my ability to work from small to grand scale without a hitch. Even the large work keep its scale. This is a very useful tool. It is small , easy to use.

Let down- Resolution Quality Poor
By Andy loves perfection
from Ventura, CA
I am a mixed media artist who really needs a projector to make proper use of my time and skill.I do fine detailed work and have a perfectionist downfall. Unfortunately this projector has VERY LOW RESOLUTION and makes my image transfer process more complicated than I have time for. I work on the computer in photoshop/illustrator to create layouts and scale, then transfer onto surface for hand drawing/painting with the projector. A 20"x15" 300 DPI JPEG projected onto the SAME SIZE CANVAS is so pixelated It looses 3/4 of the details! I can't afford to purchase nicer projector right now so this one will have to do. GRRRR. I also would probably even return it, but I prematurely wrote my name on the USB included with projector and now I can't- dumb dumb.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Merchant response: Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with this projector. We apologize for any misunderstanding regarding the digital resolution and image size, which should be 854 X 480 (dpi resolution is for print only). This projector should work well for works up to 24", so if you correct the resolution, you should have good clarity. If we can be of further assistance in using this projector, please call 1-800-933-2542 (8am-5:30pm CST M-F) or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Flare LED 100 and Mac
By Vera DeGroote
from Denver, Co
I just unpacked my Flare 100 Digital Projector. Beware, if you own a Mac, you will need to buy a Lightning to HDMI connector for another $45-$50 before you can use it. Disappointing that I was told this to start with.
Merchant response: Thank you for your review. It's true that some devices need an adapter in order to connect to an HDMI cable. If you would ever like additional information on a product you're considering purchasing from us, we hope you'll let us help. Just give us a call at 1-800-933-2542 or email email@example.com. Loving my first projector
from Baltimore, MD
I love this little projector despite it's size, just for the mere fact that its light weight and easy to use. I also like the size of projection that you can achieve with this tiny thing.
from Buffalo, NY
I have used it a couple times already and it works great. The only thing I would recommend is getting a good tripod to set it on. I bought it by itself and realized that I really needed a tripod for stability and adaptability. I got the one that Artograph makes. Loving both!
Artograph Digital Projector -- Easy to use!
Have enjoyed using the projector -- I can see how this will save me not only time -- but I don't have to use my printer and spend time "gridding" the print to enlarge the image.
Great projector for the money. Meant features and allows me to project my photos on bigger surfaces to create larger compositions.

from Memphis TN
I use the Artograph Flare 100 to project images onto canvas. The unit is tiny but plenty good for the job, and it gives adequate lighting. I wish it had a focusing capacity but moving the projector back and forth is not a big deal -- no pun intended. Good idea to have a tripod handy. Friendly and excellent technical support from the Artograph folks.
