I really like the layout of the storage space and how ample it is.

It is decent for the price. The biggest drawback is how the lid is hinged. It is hinged on one of the short sides of the container. This compromises the integrity of the hinge. If anything is inside the top compartment it will weigh down and compromise the hinge. A great way Art Bin could correct this is by putting the hinge on the long side of the container.

I have five of these. Got my first one to carry paints,etc. to studio in college. I have watercolors in one, acrylics in one, oils in one, drawing materials in one, etc. helps me find stuff. good size.

I got the larger size and I can fit all my artist's supplies in this box. Before they were scattered all over the place. I love how well made it is and how easy it is to organize. I can even fit my rather large covered palette flat in there. The rubber coating on the handle makes it comfortable to carry. A small detail, but very important to me.

My little boy loves rummaging around in it (under supervision of course!) and taking everything out and putting it back in its proper place. So I couldn't be happier.

Word of advice........the measurments are the OUTSIDE of the ArtBin......fortunately I took a measuring tape with me to a local store and measured the inside of the pop-out tray. The original size was too small to carry the long handle paint brushes, so any brush Size 8 & up will not fit in the tray nor will they fit diagonally.
IF you wish to carry your brushes & palette knifes in the tray I recommend to size up to the extra large size.
