Great Art Bin

Comments about ArtBin Essentials Lift-Out Tray Boxes:
As a Christmas present, we got our daughter this Art Bin to organize her own art supplies. So far it's for her new acrylics and brushes nicely.

Holds all my supplies great
Another great ArtBin product

Another great purchase from Blick. I love this company and have ordered many times. They carry quality items for the best prices around. I was looking for this exact box and found it at Blick. I wanted a clear box, not too small, but long enough to hold some brushes and other art supplies to carry with me and to store when not in use. The removable tray is a good asset also.Couldn't beat the price!

Great, doesn't last
I used this for sidewalk decorations. Really great, vibrant colors but they ran out fast.

This container is so perfect for my needs. I have room for my brushes and pencils in the bottom and my tubes of oil paint in the removable tray on top.
Sturdy and Mostly Functional
from Santa Cruz, CA
I trust ArtBin to make products that just function, and I needed a new box for a class I'm in, so I went with a 14" ArtBin with a lift out tray.I keep my pencils, tape, cloth, charcoal, ruler, erasers, rubber cement, a viewfinder, several inking pens, and various other little tools I take on occasion, in the box. My set of pencils did not fit width-wise in the base, so I keep them out of their tin, in the top tray, which is kind of a bummer. There are little ridges on the inside, likely for support, that cut down a bit of the space available for larger supplies.I like the look of the translucent plastic. It hides most of the "clutter" from view, but you can still peek in and see which box it is. The box is lockable with a padlock (not included), which is extra nice since I have two toddlers. The latch is sturdy and locks in place so firmly that I have no doubts when I carry the box by its handle across campus. The only feature that I feel this box lacks is compartments in the tray. Sometimes those are irritating because they are not the right size for what you have, but even just one or two to keep pencils/charcoal/erasers separate would make my life just a little bit easier. As it is, I keep my erasers in an old box for mints, and my charcoals I keep in a sandwich bag. That isn't a big deal, but it would be that much easier to just have them in a little spot of their own within the box.The box would be IDEAL if it had adjustable compartments! But then it would likely be in a different price range, and I am totally satisfied for how little this snagged from my wallet. :)
