Comments about ArtBin Artworx 1-Tray Art/Craft Boxes:

I needed something to put all my art-related things for my watercolor class. I bought the smaller of the two, since I wanted it to be good for travel and didn't have too much stuff.

The plastic feels sturdy and thick enough, but it's not hampering heavy or anything. The handle is comfortable and the latch is very secure, not just a clip-snap like some are. On the bottom, I store my brushes (in a cloth brush roll), three small sponges, a small brush-cleaning soap, a small turpentine bottle, some watercolor paint tubes, and sometimes a napkin or something. If I put too much stuff in it or cram it in carelessly, the top tray won't fit on optimally, so you can't put toooo much stuff in there.

On the top, I store a few more brushes, the rest of my paints, toothpicks and q-tips, an ink bottle, and maybe a few other small things like erasers, pens, etc.. However, Under the handle for the top tray is empty space, a rectangular hole in the middle of the tray with just a slight up-dip at the edges to keep stuff in the top tray. Most of my stuff seems fine, but sometimes smaller things like my stick of chalk, will slip through the hole.

Overall, quite a simple, straightforward design. It holds my stuff well and isn't too heavy or bulky, but it can't be packed with too many things (at least the smaller one) . I like it a lot, actually, and I think it'll last me a long while.
