Collage Methods — Gerald Brommer shows students the techniques for creating four collages, using tissue paper, construction paper, photographs, images torn from newspapers and magazines, stained papers, and paint. Paper Molas — Artist Peggy Flores demonstrates the art of creating molas with colored paper. Traditionally, molas are made of fabric by the Kuna people of Panama. Flores starts by drawing the subject and cutting the layers of paper. She then glues each layer of paper, allowing the previous layers of color to show through.
