I use this product on a regular basis.

Comments about Amsterdam Standard Series Acrylics:
I like to try various brands of acrylic paints in my work as an artist. My choice is often based on color more than brand. I find that Amsterdam acrylic paints, both the Student and Expert series are a very good quality paints for the price. The Expert series does have a greater pigment load, still the Student series offers a choice of colors that I like to use on a regular basis when I'm painting.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

The Perfect Paint
from Florence, KY
As an artist, Amsterdam is the only acrylic paint I will ever use. Its vivid color, smooth consistency, mixing abilities, and dry time, are all superior in comparison to other brands. It was disappointing when my local arts and crafts stores discontinued carrying this brand, but I was recommended to Blick by a friend, and I am so thankful they carry it. I recently purchased the titanium white, and two years ago purchased the oxide black, and I look forward to painting with them both!

I'm not a professional painter or anything, but these are by far my favorite acrylics. And they're a way better deal online than in an art store. Great colors, great price. Definitely recommend.
It is good acrylic paint
I used the product to paint. It was paint. Good pigment quality for the price.

A classic. Covers very well (much better than Liquitex). Great variety of colors and they are very stable (don't change with light, time...).
Went on smooth yet had body.

I am a student artist and these are the only acrylics I will work with. I compared it to other acrylics such as utretcht, liquitex, and cheap craft paints. The cheap craft paints are chalky and have no pigment, the utretcht are too expensive and small (especially for larger paintings) and dry incredibly fast, the liquitex look very shiny and plastic when they dry. The Amsterdam paints don't dry as fast, don't look too plastic or shiny, but also are not matte, and have good pigment load for the price. Under-rated in my opinion, better than liquitex and cheaper.
Excellent affordable choice
