Works great! Very flexible in allowing me to use various sizes of work. Top could be a bit thicker for added support but other than that I absolutely love this workstation.

My previous review disappeared somehow. I've had several problems with this easel, including the ones listed by the previous reviewer. It doesn't lock into place, it doesn't hold small canvases in place, and now the canvas support doesn't work at all.

I asked for a replacement part to hold the canvas support in place which took over 6 weeks to receive -- and once I received it it was incompatible with the other parts,so I have been out of an easel for weeks now.

This looked like such a great easel, but don't waste your money. Now I see it is like 70% off on other site, probably because it sucks :(

This easel won't lock into place. You tilt it at the angle you want and as you paint it drops back down. You have to hold with one hand and paint with the other. It also does not hold small canvas's very well the rock into the voids between the rails while you are painting. I have put a large piece of plywood that stays on the easel and the canvas sits on that. Too many knobs that have to be adjusted to do a simple tilt and after all that work it does not stay in place. I paid too much money to replace it but it sure doesn't make the painting experience fun. I would never buy from this easel company again. I did contact the manufacture and they said they were still working out the kinks. That doesn't help me at all. They also said they would send me some of their painting palettes for my troubles and they never did that either. What I want is a easel that works.

Ordered this easel for my husband for Christmas. It came in today and we were both pleasantly surprised. Very little assembly required, nice large slick solid surface for easy clean up, and made of solid wood which you cant hardly find in anything these days. This is by far the nicest, user friendly easel we've had. Very much worth the price.
