Extremely popular brilliant colors. These glazes flow during firing to correct most application defects. They fire with a high gloss, and because of their flexibility, good results can be obtained on most pottery clays. These glazes are applied on mature fired bisque by brushing, dipping, pouring, or spraying. **LG series glazes indicated by a double asterisk (**) are LEAD-FREE in liquid and dry form. Only those marked with a single asterisk (*) may be used for safe spray application. (O) = Opaque (TP) = Transparent (TL) = Translucent Set of 6 — Includes LG-1 Black Magic, LG-10 Clear Transparent, LG-21 Dark Blue, LG-46 Leaf Green, LG-58 Brilliant Red, and LG-55 Purple. Set of 12 — Includes LG-1 True Black, LG-10 Clear Transparent, LG-21 Dark Blue, LG-24 Light Blue, LG-36 Freckled Brown, LG-42 Light Green, LG-48 Chrome Green, LG-50 Maroon, LG-55 Purple, LG-58 Brilliant Red, LG-63 Brilliant Yellow, LG-67 Fire Orange, all of which are classroom-safe and LG-10 Lead-Free Glaze — This clear, transparent glaze is used for application on decorated greenware or bisque. LG-10 will not discolor the underglaze or cause colors to bleed. Cone 05. New Lead-Free Reds/Yellows — LG-57 Intense Red, LG-58 Brilliant Red, LG-59 Hot Red, LG-63 Brilliant Yellow, LG-67 Fire Orange and LG-68 Vivid Orange are a new group of bright glazes that are lead free and dinnerware safe. Unlike the lead containing glazes they do not need any special treatment for achieving good results. They are very easy to use. Just apply three coats over a Cone 04 bisque and fire to Cone 05. Note — Use this color chart as an approximation of the real color.
