Great gloves for removing bisque from the kiln. They are a bit cumbersome though.

Excelent for rakuing
By Rakuing girl
from Miami, Fl
I used them for Raku firing. The fit was perfect and they were flexible enough to manipulate the tongs. I did not feel heat at all, yet again, I am not touching anything, rather protecting my hands from the heat exposure when removing the work at 1780F from the Kiln. Value added: I loved the bright orange color!
