Soft, puffy Cloud Clay is as light as air — plus, it’s non-toxic and safe for small children to use!
With more stretch than other brands of modeling clay, Cloud Clay’s fibers won’t break when pulled apart, so projects are more durable, even down to the smallest details.
Because it’s extremely pliable, Cloud Clay is fun to squeeze and model, easy to decorate, and dry to the touch while being used. Plus, it can be used over and over again when sealed properly.
Cloud Clay dries overnight.

Move over model magic; this is way better
By Lisa B
from Fort Worth, TX
Comments about Amaco Cloud Clay:
I tried six different air-dry clays to find one that would be the best for 1) a kids' craft project and 2) working with adults with Alzheimer's. Cloud Clay is comparable to model magic but is more stretchy, pliable and versatile. It has a strange odor but the kids had fun playing with it.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Its very lightweight and soft, easy to reuse and the only problem is it gets dirty pretty quick.

I love this clay...it is so light to work with. My art students love creating...some of the cutest images and crafts for Halloween. I love how it dries...it's fun to create with it.

Not the Best
By Art Teacher
This product is VERY sticky. When my students tried to press it and roll it, it ended up all over their hands and the tables. I had to throw away several colors as a result. Also, some of the colors (particularly the blue) bled into my students' skin, leaving their hands dyed. I am wishing I had gotten a better product for the money.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

We use this in the art classroom, it rocks! There is a large quantity in each pack (way more than model magic gives you. Its also more pliable and stays softer longer than model magic. Also, when it dries (2 days)there is no cracks or puffs that appear in the clay. Great Stuff!!!
Soft, Fun, Clay
from Dexter, Michigan
I used this clay for an open workshop at the local art center. We used cookie cutters to make magnets. This air dry clay is very soft perfect for younger kids to work with. It is also easy to make marble effects by mixing and twisting different colors together. A manual pasta machine can be used to make large flat pieces on the thicker settings. My only complaint is that the surface can dry pretty quickly. Leaves kind of a skin on top, but not dried all the way through. After a few hours into the workshop I started noticing this, and had to quickly pack unused clay away. The final result after 24 hours to dry is a very light, matte appearance.
This was a great product for young child

This was a great product for lower elementary students. It was a much softer clay and the children had great success with this product. Would definitely purchase and recommend for young students.
I would buy this product again
from Eureka, CA
I used the cloud clay with five to nine year old children to make small animal creatures. We made paper mache hot air balloons for their creatures to sit in. It was easy to use and the children really enjoyed working with it. I found the light weight to be an improvement over other self hardening clays. One child discovered they could use markers to add designs. The bright colors were fun as well.

Better than Model Magic
from Galesburg, IL
The clay is easier to mold than most of this variety. It dries quickly and neat striation effects can be made. I went out and bought a bunch more. It helps that it is so lightweight!
