hard to find product
By tommy teailer

I've used pantograph in the past and had a hard time finding a new one until Blick. I recommend Blick to people I bump into at the local art supply stores
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
No competitive alternative to compare
The connections came loose as you used the device. It needs a way for the joints to rotate but stay tight. Maybe a bearing washer assembly.

Alvin 300 Hardwood Pantograph
from New York
The pantograph is used to transfer sketched images onto canvas in prep. for painting. I have used it with minor difficulty. The table clamp is a bit small and of light construction, the lead that came with the tool is too soft, and the end of the pantograph that fits onto the post of the clamp comes off of the post too easily. With practice these disadvantages can be dealt with. Having said this the produce is fairly priced.

Great Product; No Instructions
By Cuckoo's Nest Quilts
from Asheville, NC
This pantograph makes it easy for me to change the scale of my own designs, with no need to pay for enlarging or shrinking services. However, there were no instructions on how to use it, so I had to find YouTube how-to videos, and could only find them in Portuguese and Spanish. That worked for me, but might be tricky for English-only people. I do enjoy the tool, and it has a great clamp-on feature.
Works for me!

It's a good product and does what I need it to do. Blick was great about shipping and handling. Will buy from Blick again.

I bought the PA 306 pantograph from Blick Art and was very excited about receiving it. After procrastinating several weeks, I got it out of the box to use. The lead holder was broken. Can this part be replaced?

Customers who receive damaged or defective items should contact our Customer Service department via email or by calling (800) 723-2787 and we will work with you to rectify the situation.

worked great for my application
By Bills mom

This worked great to size different art to the right scale BUT my only problem with it is the lead. It comes very dull (flat on the bottom) and it is not easy to sharpen. Other than that a great product for the price
