I'm really pretty annoyed! I shouldn't have to spend so much time and effort to get fracking packaging glue off of a work surface. The point of this thing is to have a smooth, non stick work surface, for crying out loud!! And it isn't just a couple of dots of glue, it is a huge, thick line diagonally accross the the entire work surface. Arghh!! Do I really have to buy some WD40, just to get the glue off so that I can use it? This is so unnecessary and would be such an easy thing for the company to fix.

I have to agree with everyone else. The packaging double sided tape is difficult to remove. I was able to remove with a window scraper, soap, cooking oil, a scrub brush, and really hot water. If you order this, it may take a while to remove the adhesive.
I ordered this to use in addition to my pasta machine. I needed polymer clay slabs larger than my pasta machine could handle. This tool is simple and easy to use.

I wrote a previous review re the adhesive, since then I have used some WD40 on the adhesive which stayed on the product. It came off clean and i have been using the roller for a couple months now and couldnt be happier. It works really well even better than the pasta machine I had been using to roll my clay before. Is a good product for someone who doesnt have a large work space.

I am yet to use this product because of the awful mess the sticky tape, that the label is stuck to the work surface with,has caused. I have tried a scraper, and alcohol but to no avail as yet, I will try some oil next. I am sure the actual product will work well if I could only get to use it. As far as i can see there was no need for such a strong adhesive to be used to adhere the label.

This product was just what I wanted--a compact, affordable alternative to a pasta machine. It is equipped with a roller and side rails in various useful sizes. It could have been ideal. Unfortunately, they chose it affix its flimsy paper label directly to the flat plastic bed of the slab roller with double-faced, sticky tape that could not be pulled off. I tried everything--soap and water, alcohol, acetone, a scratchy pad, a razor blade. Nothing would remove the gummy residue. The product is still not functioning correctly. What a shame to ruin a great product with sleazy, cheesy packaging. Hot glue or better quality tape would have come right off. I won't be buying anything else they manufacture.

It is great to have if you want a uniform thickness to your creations, it's very basic and easy to use and it didn't break the bank!

It came with varies size height adjusters and the roller and makes a great 10x10 workspace too.
