Activa Li-Qua-Ché Pourable Papier Maché

Activa's Li-Qua-Ché Pourable Papier Maché is a polymer-based casting compound for plaster ceramic molds. It's a fiber-reinforced compound that air cures at room temperature to form a hard, break-resistant casting. Its viscosity makes it easy to pour. After drying, it has a satin, smooth exterior surface.

Li-Qua-Ché should be poured at approximately the consistency of cream. Stir the mixture with a paint stirring stick, making sure that any material which has settled on the bottom has been completely blended in. Pour slowly to avoid air bubbles. Once the mold is full, set it aside for 15 to 30 minutes, depending upon the size of the casting.

Depending on the size of the mold, the mold can generally be emptied after only 15 to 30 minutes. Let the mold drain off for another 15 to 30 minutes, and you're ready to remove your casting from the mold.

The container includes printed instructions for mixing, pouring, removing, and finishing the casting. Finished projects can be painted with any non-fire glaze or paint.
