Studio Art School
At the Studio Art School we offer a range of practical online courses which are designed for anyone who wants to develop their skills and knowledge in Art and Design; either as a means of progressing to full time study or simply in order to become more creative. We also offer a unique service – the Portfolio Surgery – which provides help and guidance to those who are applying to Art College or University. An initial portfolio assessment is available free of charge. All our courses are supported by comprehensive learning materials which provide step by step instructions for the completion of exercises and projects, together with suggestions for further study and a wealth of information on artists, techniques and materials. Our online courses offer complete flexibility, enabling students to work anywhere, anytime, at their own pace; with access to expert tuition, guidance and advice online.

Style of Japan features traditional handmade Japanese washi paper such as Yuzen Washi Large Paper, Chiyogami Washi Paper, Origami, Lamp Shade Paper, Shoji Washi Paper.
Sue Whitmore's work explores images, verbal and visual. Her work is diverse, inspired by artists from Paul Nash and Henry Moore to Hieronymus Bosch and the Surrealists.
