This project challenges students to look at positive and negative space in both value and dimension as they make an embossed drawing on a piece of matte black tooling foil. Using just drawing pencils and repoussé techniques they can achieve a variety of depths and textures with a silver graphite sheen. Grade Level: 5 – 8, 10 – 12
