Non-toxic, workable, and fully archival, SpectraFix is a casein-based fixative that utilizes milk protein and grain alcohol to hold and protect your media without dulling or darkening colors. Ideal for use with a variety of media.

Concentrate — This tiny 2 oz bottle contains less than the 3 oz maximum size allowable on airlines, so it can be transported in checked or carry-on baggage. It can also be inexpensively mailed internationally due to its light weight and minimal alcohol content, making it ideal for painting holidays or carrying to a plein air site. Following the included instructions, mix the SpectraFix concentrate with a colorless alcoholic liquor (vodka, for example) in an empty fine mist spray bottle (available separately). A 2 oz (59 ml) bottle of concentrate makes 16 oz (473 ml) of fixative.
