The Acryla line of acrylic polymer colors is manufactured in a vacuum to assure uniformity and consistency, to prevent bubbles from entering the paint. Acryla colors include several unique pigments that are rarely seen in acrylic polymer paint.
Color Swatches created using heavy application/medium application/50% tint and were applied on acrylic primed canvas (7 oz) material.
Originally developed as a brown dye for cotton, it was laked as a pigment for use in artist colors.
Microdis Brown, Viscofil Brown
Fluorescent pigments such as BV11:1 offer intense and brilliant effects because they absorb ultraviolet light and re-emit light at longer wavelengths.
Like all fluorescent pigments, BV11:1 is not considered permanent. It will fade with exposure to ultraviolet light.
Symuler Pigment 135 is a proprietary pigment. Although it may be similar to or the same as other pigments that are commercially available, we do not have identifying information.
Symuler is the trade name of a company that produced pigments and dyes, now a subsidiary of Dainippon Ink & Chemicals, Inc. of Japan.
