Create a myriad of unique, customized textures, finishes, and special effects with Lascaux Acrylic Mediums, formulated with the same dedication to performance and quality as Lascaux Acrylic Paints. All mediums are acrylic-based and can be safely mixed together. Impasto Gels 1 and 2 — Lascaux's Impasto Gels are thick, transparent gels used to give acrylic colors more body and volume. They may be mixed into paints or over-painted for a variety of results. Also try them for embedding heavyweight collage materials. They dry to a waterproof film that is lightfast and crack-resistant, even when applied in thick layers. Impasto Gel 1 dries to a transparent gloss film, while Impasto Gel 2 dries to a semi-transparent matte film. The two gels can be intermixed to achieve customized sheen levels. |
