Mortars can be applied directly or mixed with acrylic color for tinting, to create reliefs and coatings. They are best applied with a painting knife.

Crystal Mortar — This is the thickest and heaviest mortar, made from a mixture of acrylic polymer and quartz crystals. It achieves the effects of transparent and granular materials that reflect light. When mixing with this mortar, it is preferable to use transparent colors. Mix it with Bindex to improve its attachment to the base. Dries to a gloss finish.
