Grumbacher mediums thicken or thin paints without harming their adhesive, binding, or film-forming qualities, and allow artists to achieve increased flow and rapid or slow drying. Also proven to guard against yellowing and cracking. Picture Varnish, Matte — A final varnish for dry oil and acrylic paintings that protects them from dirt, moisture, and scuffs. Crystal-clear when applied, it quickly dries to a matte finish that is non-yellowing and flexible. It can be easily removed with paint thinner or other mild solvents. Apply when painting is completely dry, normally within three to five days for acrylic paintings, and six to 12 months for oil paintings. One coat covers; allow five minutes between coats if a heavier application is desired. 11.25 oz (318 g) aerosol can. |
