Marbling

This kit makes it easy to create beautiful marbled paper or fabric. It contains red, yellow, orange, blue, green and black marbling dyes, paper dots, and full instructions. Dyes are waterbased and non-toxic. Perfect for anyone ages 6 through adult.

Use a mixture of alum and water sponged over paper before marbling to make the paper more receptive to the color. Jacquard Alum also improves color fastness and tone. Mix two tablespoons to one pint of hot water.

A natural gelling medium derived from seaweed that provides viscosity for marbling on fabric. Prepare at least 12 hours in advance of use.
