Glazes - High Fire Glazes

A collection of traditional Cone 10 reduction lead-free glazes made to fire at Cone 5-6 (2167-2232°F, 1186-1222°C) in an oxidation kiln. For best results, follow these special application instructions for the following PC series glazes.

Amaco Sahara High Fire Cone 5 (2167F, 1186C) Glazes are compounded to match porcelain and stoneware bodies. Matte and textured glazes are suitable for stoneware and transparent gloss glazes fortranslucent porcelain are included in this series.
