Clay Shaping, Patterning, and Texturing

This tool is designed for fluting leather hard clay. The radius end gives a uniform flute along the outside edge of your pot. The grooved end creates a rough or scalloped look. The Clay Fluting Tool is made of stainless steel and measures 7" (18 cm).

Texturize and patternize clay slabs as quickly as you can hammer them out! These clay hammers are made of smooth varnished hardwood and come in sets of five. Each hammer has two designs, one on each head. Heads are approximately 1" (2.5 cm) square.

Beautifully formed and polished boxwood tools are very useful for shaping clay while working on the wheel.

Here's a quick and easy way to make spouts or any other hollow element. Just wrap a clay slab around either tapered end of this solid maple tool. Once stiff, it can be modified. Add it to a pot or sculpture.

Use these thick baltic birch paddles for shaping, hammering, and forming. Choose from flat or rope finish. The rope finish paddle is wound with ¼" hollow-braid polypropylene rope.
