In this program, viewers learn the process of creating and assembling a hardcover "case bound" book. The DVD includes sections on materials, folding and sewing page signatures, creating a cloth cover, assembly, and building a book press and sewing frame.

Peggy Flores shows simple methods for making books with simple stitch binding, as well as accordion books and pop-up books. Designing colorful covers for the books is part of this project, which produces functional books for a variety of uses.
